Great Friday

We had a special service on Good Friday, the day of the crucifixion and death of Christ. A procession went three time around the church with Plaschanitca. Pictures © Natalia Tuchina.

Vladika Mitrofan is visiting us!

His Grace Bishop Mitrofan of Eastern America visited us and served the Liturgy in the new church building that is not completely finished yet (see picture above ). Many people came to greet Vladika Mitrofan and have Holy Communion.

Moleben for serbs in Kosovo

On February 20, 2008 the Holy Liturgy in our church followed by Moleben about serbian orthodox people struggling in their home land. It was the spiritual answer to the political pressure after Kosovo was proclaimed the independent state. "We are serving Moleben for those who are now in Kosovo and Methoxia - the homeland of the serbian culture, serbian people, serbian state and spirituality". Fr Dragan said Propoved in Serbian explaining what "democracy" means for the orthodox people . "We have nothing to be afraid of, God is with us. Let God help our struggling brothers and sisters!" Blessing of the Cross
